What Are the Best Lens for Steadicam DSLR Cameras?

As every video content creator out there, I have tried out many lenses for my DSLR cameras. After such a long time, I have finally decided on which Steadicam to use on shoots and which camera to use for what scene I’m shooting, but the lens is my constant problem. If you are a video shooting addict like me, you probably have the same issue. Many cameras I use to shoot with my Steadicam stabilizers come in combination with various lenses depending on the project I’m shooting and finding the best lenses for my DSLR cameras is always a struggle.

So, I am now creating my video content by using the best equipment I can find, desperately trying to find the best lens for use with my DSLR cameras for use with my Steadicam I’m working with each day. At this point, I have tried out so many that I don’t even know the number, but I know one thing – out of them all, there are four that I found to be the best.

  1. First on my list, the Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L – one of the very finest moisture and dust resistant lenses out there. This particular product has made my shooting career a blast, especially in cases of event shooting, traveling and something as complex as celebrity shooting. The Image Stabilizer of these lenses provides an outstanding shake reduction and the shutter speed of three stops slower than anything else I have tried out. It is the first product I found to be good enough for my needs, combining operability, image stabilization, and weather resistance. And I am not only speaking of the image quality – the lenses actually allows me to set the exposure at the widest aperture I have used and zoom without having to vary the shutter speed.
  2. The second on my list of best lens for Steadicam DSLR is the Nikon AF FX NIKKOR 50mm f/1 8D Lens. This is a much more affordable version for a great lens with manual aperture control. Adding this product to my inventory provides me with extremely compact, light wear lens that gives me smooth adjustments during Live View shooting. Additionally, it works great and fast for shooting without a flash, in many lightings starting from dusk and dawn indoor lighting.to
  3. Next on my list of favorites is the Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4 0-5. 6 IS IITelephoto Zoom Lens. I have listed this one in my best lens forSteadicam DLSR not only because of the affordable price but of its many advantages too. These lenses are designed with the ultimate optical image stabilizer technology of Canon, which allows a high zoom ratio equivalent to a focal length of up to 400mm. Also, it uses UD-glass lens elements and is extremely light wear.
  4. Finally, my list of best lens to use with my Steadicam and DSLR camera would be incomplete without the Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM Standard. It has fast, smooth autofocus that allows me to shoot with the highest precision. The f/1.4 aperture gives me perfect shots in low light situations while allowing me to achieve shallow depths of field focus.

Finding the perfect lens for a camera is an amazingly difficult thing to do, especially if you are shooting professionally and need perfect focus, light wear equipment and have many, many other requirements. As for me, I can finally say I found some great choices I can use in my shooting.
